How to Plan an
Outdoor Family Adventure

Planning an outdoor family adventure is exciting and fun but can also feel overwhelming. All the tasks required for planning can make your head spin. And then add kids to the mix… hard right?

You want an adventure where everyone is enjoying themselves. So how do you do it? How do you plan an incredible family adventure?

Prairie Crew Adventures is here to help!

Climate Crew

At Prairie Crew Adventures, our love for the earth runs deep, and we're committed to caring for it. We believe in taking personal and collective action to ensure a sustainable and liveable future for our children.

We strive to leave a positive impact on the world we cherish and hope that, with our guidance and support, you can do the same.

Prairie Crew Adventures acknowledges the land on which we operate, enjoy and explore. Winnipeg is located on Treaty 1 territory, the original lands of the Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Red River Métis. We also explore in different  regions of Manitoba, such as Treaty 2, 3, 4 and 5. We acknowledge that the water we drink each day is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation. We are educating ourselves about the atrocities committed by the government. Our commitment to Indigenous peoples, to the environment and the enjoyment of outdoor activities is deeply rooted in respecting and protecting the land, waterways, and ecosystems that have sustained Indigenous communities for generations. We are dedicated to promoting responsible outdoor practices, fostering a connection to nature, and actively supporting the ongoing efforts of Indigenous peoples to protect their lands and traditions.
