Prairie Crew Adventures presents Family Adventures on Foot: Hiking with Kids. Hiking with kids is an adventure like no other. It's an opportunity for families to connect with nature, bond, and create lasting memories together.  In our presentation, we'll guide you through the exciting and rewarding experience of hiking with kids. We will share our tips and strategies for planning and packing, how to keep kids engaged as they hike and we will share some of our favourite hikes in Manitoba. Join us as we equip you with the tools and knowledge to make hiking with your kids (from babies, toddlers, school age to teens) a source of joy and adventure. Get ready to hit the trails and ignite the spirit of exploration in your family!

Prairie Crew Adventures will have it’s FIRST vendor booth at the Forks on April 21, 2024! We are excited to be part of the Earth Day events! Come to our booth and say hi! We will have info for parents - How to talk to your kids about the climate crisis, some resources you can take a look at, we will showcase our NEW products that you can purchase and we will have a fun game for kids to play: What Goes Where? Can you you sort items into recycling, compost or trash? Play the game and get a chance to win a prize!

    Carolyn presented at Manitoba Outdoors Show, an interactive, family-friendly event for outdoorsy folks.

    She spoke about hiking with kids and she shared tips and strategies for planning and packing and keeping kids engaged while they hike.

    She hopes she has inspired and encouraged parents and caregivers to get out with their families and go on a hike.
